About Our Meat Products

We purchase all our Beef, Lamb and Pork from Bowland Forest Foods, which is a consortium of farmers who provide top quality meat to the independent retail trade. All the animals on the farm are naturally fed and reared.

 

We mature our beef by traditionally hanging on the bone for 21 days and our lambs for 7 days. The breed of pigs we use are Gloucester Old Spots which give constant flavour and tenderness time after time.

We source our chickens from K.G Wilkinson farm at Out Rawcliffe, and also corn fed chickens and ducks from Goosnargh.

We make a variety of sausages and burgers using only the best cuts of meat so you can be sure you are eating good wholesome products time after time.


Quality assurance of our products is foremost in the services we provide to our customers and is recognised throughout the food chain starting with the farm, through to the kitchens of our customers.

 

 

 

Sausages
We have won various awards for our range of carefully crafted hand made sausages. We are confident that you will enjoy our wide range of beautiful sausages.

You will note that our sausages contain very little fat, this is one factor that people comment upon on a regular basis.
